Getting there...

The Nahanni National Park, a UNESCO world heritage recognized site encompassing some 30,000 square kilometers or roughly the size of a small European country is only accessible by Air. Virginia Falls, the star attraction is located 145 miles or just over an hours flight west of Fort Simpson. Situated on the confluence of the Liard & Mackenzie Rivers, Fort Simpson is the perfect jumping off point for your trip into the Nahanni.

Our tours into the Nahanni are available daily throughout the summer where we take the scenic route following the South Nahanni River upstream through the first, second and third canyons up to Virginia Falls. The extended tour takes you deeper into the Nahanni country seeking out glaciers and the breathtaking Cirque of the Unclimbables.
