Virginia Falls, Glacier Lake & Rabbit Kettle Lake
Service Description
Departing Fort Simpson at approximately 9am, expect to be gone for the whole day. First stop is Virginia Falls after following the first, second and third canyons up the South Nahanni River. At Virginia Falls we spend about 2 hours on the ground with a guided hike to the top and/or bottom of the waterfall. After jumping back in the floatplane, we fly deeper into the Nahanni, seeking out the Cirque of the Unclimbables and splashing down at Glacier Lake. We spend about 45 minutes here filling our water bottles from a mountain stream and taking in the view. A short 10 minute flight from here takes us to Rabbit Kettle Lake where we will soar over the largest Tufa mound in Canada. At Rabbit Kettle Lake we spend several hours with different hiking options and packraft paddling around the lake available. The flight home from here will take us over some new territory where the camera will sure get a work out as we fly over the spectacular Ram Plateau & Ram Canyon.
Cancellation Policy
1. A booking date and time can be secured by means of a non-refundable deposit. 2. A booking may be changed to a later/earlier date & time subject to availability at no additional cost. 3. The deposit is 100% non-refundable. 4. In the event of weather delays causing a back-log of flights, the first flight delayed will be the first flight to depart once weather improves. 5. In the event the carrier is not able to safely conduct a flight due to weather or unforeseen circumstances and the carrier postpones the flight; The charterer may opt to reschedule the flight to a date of their choosing (subject to availability) within the next 18 months or be issued a refund of any deposit previously made less a 3% processing fee. 6. All floatplane & tour bookings will be confirmed by means of a ‘Booking Confirmation’. This will contain important details regarding your booking, please reference the booking confirmation number when making changes to your booking. 7. Contact us directly for changes/cancellations.
